• It garners popularity among local divers but remains less familiar to international divers.
• Davíðsgjá offers a slightly warmer diving experience compared to Silfra.
• Divers enter the water on foot and, after a short swim, reach the elongated, deep, and slender fissure of Davíðsgjá.
• The dive reaches a maximum depth of 21 meters.
• Visibility underwater in Davíðsgjá is remarkable, yet it varies with the weather, presenting a more unpredictable and thrilling diving experience.
• It is often described as Silfra's more untamed and mysterious sibling.
• The fissure's surface starts about 7 meters below the water, enabling an intimate interaction with the waters of Thingvallavatn Lake.
• It is common for divers to encounter trout during their exploration of Davíðsgjá.

• Divers must be certified at least to the level of PADI Open Water Diver or an equivalent certification.
• Participants need a dry suit diving certification and a logged dry suit dive within the last two years of the tour date or at least 10 logged dry suit dives within the last two years with written proof from a diving instructor.
• Participants must carefully read, sign, and adhere to the Diving Silfra Medical Statement.
• Individuals aged 60 and above must have the Diving Medical Statement signed by a doctor.
• All participants are required to sign a liability release form at the beginning of the tour.
• Participants must be between 150cm and 200cm in height and weigh between 45kg and 120kg.
• Body measurements must fit within the provided dry suit size chart.
• Participants must be 17 years of age or older, with guardian signature required for those under 18.
• A good physical fitness level is necessary for the tour.
• Participants should be ready to wear a potentially tight and constricting dry suit.
• English communication skills are necessary for understanding and following safety instructions.
• Pregnant individuals are not permitted on the tour.

It is mandatory for all participants to sign the Diving Silfra Medical Statement and, if required, obtain a physician's approval. Additionally, each participant must sign the liability release form at the start of the tour.
