Snorkeling Over a Volcanic Hot Spring: Dive into the crystal-clear waters and snorkel above a captivating hot spring, located just two meters below the surface. This extraordinary sensation has often been likened to snorkeling in a glass of Champagne. The fact that this adventure takes place in the caldera of an ancient volcano adds to its allure.
Your Adventure Begins: Our journey starts at the Seltún geothermal area, where we will meet and then proceed to Lake Kleifarvatn. Upon arrival, we will equip you with a dry suit on the shoreline before leading you over the mesmerizing hot spring, showcasing the vibrant sulfur deposits that adorn the lake floor.
Refreshments and Exploration: After our snorkeling expedition, relax with some refreshments by the lake. We will then venture to Seltún, a nearby high temperature geothermal area on land. Here, we will meander among boiling mud pots and colorful sulfur deposits, immersing ourselves in the geothermal wonders of the area before concluding our tour.
